The Aston Martin Vantage is one of the best looking cars on the road today. Not a lot of people would argue with that, but a lot of owners found the car a little bit lacking in power and mid-range. The power delivery is so smooth and linear that it lacks the excitement that you would expect to match the looks. Everyone has their theories about why, but Aston Martin clearly left some power on the table when they developed this engine.
Thankfully RSC tuning offers a simple performance ECU re-map which boosts mid-range torque and adds a big shove in the back from 4,500RPM onwards. In addition, it remaps the fly-by wire throttle to improve responsiveness for quicker acceleration and snappier downshifts.
This reprogram can be done on its own, but we recommend combining this remap with our 200-Cell Cats and Sports Exhaust to achieve the 430+ BHP we are pushing on our very own 4.3 liter Vantage which is faster than the 4.7 liter '09.
