I bought the RSC touring exhaust system with 200 cell cats. I put the exhaust on a scale and it was 31 pounds...It looks very nice! The 200 cell cats are 5 pounds each. When I got the exhaust installed all I can say was WOW!!! It sounds so good!
The install didn't go as smooth as I would have liked because one of the exhaust pipes got a bit bent in shipping, the shop that installed my exhaust took there time to fix the problem the best they could and the results where good. RSC worked with the shop and had the issue resolved for free.
Also I had a small issue with the 200 cell cats, one of the O2 sensors are in a different spot then on the stock cats so the heat shield had to be modified to fit. I'm not sure if the stock cat O2 senors changed location for 2009 from previous years, maybe Stuart can tell us.
RSC was available the whole time to help answer questions my shop had and they went out of there way to make sure I was a happy customer! I do have to say that RSC has great customer service
Now the exhaust sound. I can't compare it to any other aftermarket Vantage exhaust because I haven't heard any in really life only online. I can say that it is much louder then stock and the sound below 4,000rpm is just as loud but it is not over the top loud. If you get on the gas the car really comes alive but you can still drive normal and have a quiet ride. I think this combo of the touring exhaust and 200 cell cats will be a favorite for most people.
There is definitely more power confirmed by my butt and at high rpm I have noticed the traction control light come on a few times. It never did this before lol
