SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • When purchasing from RSC you are agreeing to inspect your shipment within 24 hours of receipt. Inspect your order as soon as possible. All shipments from RSC are sent with full insurance for the purchase price to protect our clients from transit damage. In the event that you cannot receive your package in person we highly recommend re-directing your package to a local pickup location for UPS or Fedex. Please email us at sales@racingsportconcepts.com if you need additional assistance to set this up.

  • Keep all the original packaging. We recommend keeping all the original packaging in the event you wish to return the product or need service. If your shipment sustained damage in transit the carrier will require us to submit photos of the damage to the item and to the packaging, and may wish to inspect the item and packaging.
  • Why make this difficult for me? Honestly we're not trying to, but the longer the package is in your possession the higher the likelihood it was damaged after delivery. Sometimes clients will submit damage claims 1-2 months after receiving their product and we have no way to determine if the package was damaged after they received it and we have no recourse with the carrier due to the time that has elapsed between receipt of the delivery and reporting of the damage. If you report the damage within 24 hours, with proper photo documentation, we will send a replacement product free of charge as soon as possible and resolve the damage claim on our end with the carrier.
  • If you report damage after 24 hours we will still do our best to resolve the issue, we just don't guarantee as hassle free outcome depending on how long the item has been in your possession. We are not trying to play the "gotcha game" at all, the goal is to make replacing damaged products easy and efficient to reduce any frustration to the customer while minimizing the risk of fraud or damage that is caused by third parties after the shipment is delivered and in your possession.
  • NOTE ON THIRD PARTY DELIVERIES: The above policy is primarily the result of issues where clients have products shipped to third party installers without purchasing through that installer. When purchasing through an authorized dealer the retailer has a vested interest in protecting the item once it arrives. However when a third party installer receives an item the customer purchased directly from RSC they have little incentive to inspect the item for damage or ensure it safely stored until installation. About 80% of delivery issues occur when customers ship items to a shop they did not purchase the item from.

  • Life is hectic, and you're busy. We understand. In the event you cannot receive your package we suggest taking advantage of one of the two options below.
  • Re-direct the package to a local retail location for the respective carrier (UPS or Fedex). This option will keep the package in the carriers possession until you can pick it up at your convenience. Simply inspect the package when you receive it and report any damage to the clerk. This allows you to pickup your package from a secure location when your schedule permits. We are happy to assist you with this process if you are not sure how to set this up please email us at Sales@racingsportconcepts.com. We will need a written confirmation from you authorizing us to re-direct the package to a different location, as well as the address of that location.
  • Purchase from one of our local installation partners. RSC works with installers around the country to ensure a seemly purchase and installation experience for our customers. We are happy to ship your products to a trusted installation partner who will inspect your products upon arrival.
  • RSC does not refund shipping charges unless a mistake was made by RSC in setting up the shipment or if the shipment is being returned due to a manufacturing defect. 
  • If your package was shipped for free RSC reserves the right to deduct the outbound shipping charges incurred from the refund amount.
  • If a shipping address is incorrectly entered by the client or incomplete, the client will be responsible for any additional costs incurred to deliver the product to the corrected address.
  • If a package is delivered to the wrong address due to a customer entering a incorrect or incomplete address RSC does not bear responsibility for the costs of the lost product or replacement shipping. We will however do what we can to assist you in fixing the issue or reduce the price of the replacement product. Please double check your billing and shipping addresses when making a purchase.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Due to the policies of the credit card companies we are forced to charge a 5% cancellation fee for any cancelled orders
  • Why? When an order is placed we are charged the processing fees by the merchant processor regardless of whether the order is cancelled at a later time. Since our average order values are in the thousands of dollars we cannot afford to lose 4-6% on a transaction because the customer changes their mind. It also encourages fraudulent purchases from competitors who have tried to take advantage of this in the past.
  • We will make all reasonable attempts to provide a fair and equitable resolution but we just can't spend 4-6% of the purchase on customers who change their mind. If you have an extenuating circumstance or concern please contact at sales@racingsportconcepts.com to discuss prior to your purchase.
  • Once an order departs RSC's warehouse in Columbus Ohio any cancellation or alterations to the order will be processed under our "Returns" policy below
  • Why? Shipping Costs. Due to the size of our items, the high ticket value, and the resulting high costs of shipping we have to charge for these expenses if an item is returned due to no fault of our own. We understand people change their mind, and we want to make purchasing from RSC as low risk as possible, but paying clients $200-$500 to test a product with no risk is just too great of an expense. In the event that you want to return a product we only charge for third party costs we have to pay to deliver the product to you such as merchant fees and shipping costs.
  • We will make no attempt to profit off a return - only to recover the expenses incurred as a result of your "Return".

RETURNS

  • All Returns must ship back to RSC within 30 days of the shipping date they left our facility based on the tracking number issued. The 30 day return window begins when the shipment is received by the carrier, and closes when the return shipment is received back by the carrier.
  • Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization. Please email sales@racingsportconcepts.com to inform us of your pending return so that we can advise you properly based on your situation
  • Returns must arrive in like new condition and in the original packaging they were shipped in.
  • Used or Damaged Parts are not eligible for returns. Once a part has been installed it is no longer eligible for return except in the case of a manufacturer defect.

RE-STOCKING FEES

  • Yes. RSC reserves the right to charge a 25% re-stocking fee or the actual shipping costs and merchant fees (whichever is greater) to cover the costs of outbound and return shipping if an item is returned due to no fault of RSC. This includes carrier delays that are out of RSC's control.
  • Why? The costs and risks of shipping expensive carbon fiber products are high. If you are purchasing an item from racingsportconcepts.com you have to bear some responsibility for choosing the items you want and bearing the costs associated with delivering the item to you in good condition. We will make all reasonable attempts to replace an item with a different one or work to reduce any expenses on a return. We just can't pay you to see if you like something. We have no intention to profit off returns, but the shipping is too expensive for us to bear all the costs of you delivering a product and returning it with no risk to the purchaser.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

  • Reporting Damaged Shipment: in the unlikely event that your package arrives damaged please try to take photos of all 6 sides of the boxes noting the damage. Once the package is opened please take photos of the damage to your item. Please email photos to sales@racingsportconcepts.com with your order number.

INSTALLATION POLICY

  • In the event you have any installation issues with your RSC Product please call or email us before you make any permanent modifications to the part. We offer live tech support from 9am-5pm EST Monday-Friday at 614-516-0850 or we can be reached by email at sales@racingsportconcepts.com
  • Products that have been modified or altered without the permission of RSC will not be eligible for return.

RSC will not be held liable for the costs associated with installing our products. This includes but is not limited to parts, labor, down time, rental costs, or shipping required for service or other issues incurred by the client. We will however work with your installer to ensure a hassle free installation. If you are concerned about installation issues we highly reccomend purchasing through an authorized installation partner. SALES TAX

  • Sales tax will be implemented for every purchase made by a Ohio resident. This fee will be charged for products purchased online, over the phone, and/or via email.  This fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable and based upon the county that the item is shipped to or billed to.

GENERAL WARRANTY

Below is the General Warranty, which is applicable and goes into effect should there not be a specific product warranty included with your purchase.

A performance car is only as strong as its weakest link. Therefore, it is vital that you maintain your vehicle to factory specifications. By installing or using the purchased product, the Consumer accepts this warranty and any specific Manufacturer warranties enclosed. This warranty coverage is superseded by any warranty policy the product contains stating otherwise.

The Manufacturer’s full warranty applies to all products sold. By installing or using the purchased product, the Consumer accepts this warranty and any specific Manufacturer warranties enclosed. RSC Tuning warrants our products to the original retail purchaser (Consumer) against defects for up to two (2) years.   Use of these products in off-road or circuits of any kind voids the Manufacturer’s warranty.

Upon verification of warranty coverage, RSC Tuning will, at its sole option, repair or replace the defective product without charge. This is the only remedy the Consumer has for any loss or damage, however arising, due to nonconformity in or defect of the product. This warranty does not cover consequential damage, loss of time or revenues, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle, shipping, damage to the vehicle or components, or other incidental or indirect damage.

  • Use of product in Motorsports or Racing conditions may be considered grounds for warranty denial.
  • Motorsports and Racing is an inherently abusive operational condition and it is impossible to warranty for this type of usage.
  • All warranties may be void if the product was not installed by a certified auto mechanic or if your vehicle was improperly serviced, modified, or used in a way not intended by the Manufacturer.
  • The Consumer is responsible for ensuring that the product is installed in a safe and proper manner and should cease usage of the product immediately if an unsafe or improper condition is noted. If an unsafe or improper condition is noted, the Consumer should then immediately contact the facility where the product was installed or RSC Tuning.
  • RSC reserves the right to deny warranty claims that are resulting from a customer improperly installing a product.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  • RSC Tuning shall have absolutely no liability in connection with the website content including any liability for damage to your product resulting from the information or the lack of information available on the RSC Tuning website.
  • Any decision made or action taken or not taken in reliance upon the site material
  • Any loss or injury caused by use of parts, by its actions, omissions, or negligence or for contingencies beyond its control, in procuring, compiling, or inaccuracies in correlating to the site material.
  • In no event shall RSC Tuning be liable for any for any special, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages for any loss or profits, goodwill, use or other intangible losses including negligence, whether remote, proximate or foreseeable, and whether or not RSC Tuning has been advised of the possibility of such damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of our products.
  • Any errors, omission, or inaccuracies in or relating to the site material regardless of how caused, or delays or interruptions in delivery
  • Any losses or damages whatsoever, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, from the use of the internet generally

Some parts on the RSC Tuning website are for off-road use only.  With any racing activity, there are risks with performance modification.  All installations are at the CUSTOMER’S own risk.  RSC Tuning LLC or any of its affiliates holds no responsibility either implied or otherwise for mechanical, electrical or other failure when using aftermarket performance products.  Some of the items listed on this website may be illegal in your state and only for racing vehicles
